The San Mateo County Government Center complex is easily accessible via public transit. The Redwood City CalTrain station is co-located with a San Mateo County Transit (samTrans) hub, both of which are three short blocks from the County Government Center. Click on the links for up-to-date information on schedules and service. Use the Redwood City Caltrain station as your destination reference.

How to get from Redwood City CalTrain to 555 County Center: |
- Exit the CalTrain station through the north side of the platform. Proceed to the intersection of Broadway and Marshall Streets.
- Cross Broadway and proceed on Marshall to Winslow Street. Cross Winslow.
- Continue on Marshall to Hamilton Street. Turn left. At the signal, cross the street.
- Hamilton Street becomes County Center on the north side of Marshall.
- Proceed on County Center past the Hall of Justice. At the end of the Hall of Justice will be the County Government Center courtyard. 555 County Center is the five-story gray building across the courtyard and to the left.
